“Knock Knock Jokes – Make Your Own Comic Strips” Digital Workshop for Kids

Event Date: Jun 11, 2020

Tory Woollcott
Thursday, June 11, 2020 – 1:30-2:15 pm

Learn how to make your own comic strips with writer and cartoonist Tory Woollcott! Using knock-knock jokes as the base of a comic, Tory will lead you through laying out a comic and making your own characters tell your own stories and jokes!

The workshop is sponsored by Telling Tales as part of its “Celebrating Graphic Novels” digital workshop series for children, aged 8-14.

Workshops are offered free to HWCDSB students and will posted on the myClass LMS platform on June 10, 11 and 12. Check myClass for details.

Materials required: A PDF worksheet will be provided, but plain paper, pencils and pencil crayons will be all you need.

Submit your best knock-knock jokes to Telling Tales’ Creativity Club.
